How much does it cost?

Information is FREE. We only take money when we have to spend money but we NEVER charge you for something you don't want. You see what you get before you pay so you never pay for something you don't want. Work Note: $5 Referral Letter or Rx: As low as $1: Pricing based on speed (it costs a lot of money to get a doctor to drop everything and rush to you, but it gets REAL cheap REAL quick if you can wait).

Is this a real doctor?

If you choose one of the "get care" options, InstaDoc screens your symptoms using the criteria the real doctors have set in place and, if you meet the criteria for quick care and agree to the probable treatment you'll get, it connects you with a network of licensed clinicians who review your care. AI handles the initial assessment, humans provide the oversight and treatment.

How long does it take?

Most assessments take under 5 minutes. Prescriptions and notes are typically ready within the time period YOU CHOOSE. You choose how long you want to wait for them to review it. The clinician group has agreed to take less money if you can give them more time all the way to free (there is a minimal $1 fee that pays for some of the costs of using the platform but the doctor gets basically $0)

What can't you treat?

We cannot treat medical emergencies, mental health crises, conditions requiring physical examination, or conditions deemed unsafe for care without at least a video connection. We also can not prescribe controlled substances (narcotics, benzodiazepines like xanax, or other potentially dangerous medications). If you have a life-threatening emergency, call 911.

Is my information private?

Yes. InstaDoc is built with HIPAA-aware safeguards. We minimize the data we collect. Symptom intake is stored only as needed to operate the service and to share with a clinician if you choose. We only share the information you give us with healthcare facilities that YOU choose to send it to all while remaining totally anonymous to InstaDoc.
